It was 2009 summer hoilday and i thought to do my internship that summer break in abuja. I had spent about a month and had few weeks left to round up. My cousin at the time was 3 and was used to throwing tantrums every time her mom was on her way out. On this saturday, my aunt had a emegency at work and had to leave, my cousin in her usually way decided to run after her moms car to stop her. I was so angry, ran after her not minding if there was anyone around, when i caught up with her she was screaming her head off which attracted attention from everyone around. I was ready to give her the beating of a life time when a guy walked up to us and began calming her down. She calmed down and i took her home. "I still beat her"and then she slept off.
I decided it was only polite to go back and thank the gentle man for helping out. That was how our friendship began.

Tee has always asked me the kind of proposal i wanted and i was sure to give him details. Tee was out of Lagos for work but promised to come visiting that weekend as it was my brothers birthday. He said he had promised my brother a turn up that weekend. I was super excited as i was going to see him. He planned out the entire weekend and told me we would be lounge at WestTown hotel that weekend. I was super excited who doesn't love a pampered weekend.
I am one to change my mind from time to time, i could decided not to go out for dinner that day or could decide not to dress up or decided its just best to sleep in. Tee made sure i made the reservation for dinner so i don't have an excuse bought me a dress as a weekend gift and kept on singing it to me that we would be going out for dinner. I got ready reluctantly, and was ready to have dinner in the restaurant i had picked out, but he kept telling me the hotel had a really nice pool area which was very close to a Chinese restaurant and we had to check it before we drove to the island. I'm like what kind of change of plans is this. I don't know how to swim and i dint want Chinese for dinner. But he kept pushing and i didn't want us to have an argument that night.
We went up to the roof top and i saw the pool, in my head im like the pool is nice lets go time is going....
He is like let us check the resturant, reluctantly i did and i got the shocker of my life. I ran for my dear life. I was super excited i almost jumped down.
Everyone we loved was there and that made me so happy. I couldnt stop the tears from rolling down.
My forever was about to begin with the one man that has always been in my life.
I am super hyper and excited that we are spending forever together.
